Imagine being able to help children and parents navigate through the challenges of autism. Or realize that your efforts helped advance groundbreaking research to develop improved interventions and programs. Or know that your gift helped a child enjoy the simple pleasures of summer camp. The UW Autism Center’s (UWAC) 3rd Annual Benefit Dinner & Auction provides the opportunity to achieve all of these dreams and more.
On January 26, 2019, UWAC will host Illuminating Autism: Building Communities to support under-funded care for families including our Infant Clinic, APEX summer camp for school-aged children, and diagnostic evaluations for adults. The evening is designed to bring together our autism family to celebrate clinical and scientific progress and to build a community of supporters that will drive future discoveries and program advances. The event will include presentations highlighting the Center’s efforts in outreach and involvement with local, statewide, national and international communities, as well as time to have fun and participate in live and silent auctions.
